School enrollment timetable published

THE regional education department has published the law that sets out the timetable for school enrollment for the 2022-2023 academic year, and for the first time families will be able to carry out the whole process online. The document, published today (Tuesday) in the DOGV (Diari Oficial de la Generalitat) where all new laws appear, also gives instructions on the enrollment process for both types of publically funded schools: publico (funded and run by the state) and concertado (publically funded but privately run) schools. The timetable does not include private schools.

For Infants and Primary, the online application period opens on 26 April and closes on 4 May. Definitive admissions lists will be published on 3 June, from which date families who have been offered a place can begin the registration process online, up until 21 June. Those who prefer to register in-person can do so from 22 June to 6 July.

For Secondary Education, la ESO, and Bachillerato, the online application period is from 26 May to 3 June. Definitive lists of those admitted in la ESO will be published on 18 July and online registration will begin the same day until 21 July. In-person registration will be from 19 to 22 July.

Definitive lists of Bachillerato students admitted will be published on 22 July, from which date until 27 July online registration can be carried out. In-person registration will be from 25 to 28 July.

The main way of applying for places is via the platform, http://www.telematricula.es, where families can see all the available places and find tutorials on the application process.

However. any family that isn’t able to apply online can go to the school where they would like their child to be enrolled and complete the online application there,
