VALENCIA dance academy, Baila con Cameron, has won Gold and the title Dance School of the Year at the Dance School of the Year Awards 2021
Director, Cameron Hall was dancing on air following the announcement at a ceremony held in the UK last Friday.
Cameron said: “I am absolutely speechless to be recognised at this level. I started the school to build a community and bring dance, laughter and shimmies into people’s lives and it really is those wonderful people that I have to thank for the success of Baila con Cameron so far. I am honoured to be awarded Dance School of the year and can not wait to see what comes next for us.”
The Dance School of the Year Awards was founded in 2013 by dance teacher, author and businesswoman, Anne Walker MBE, to celebrate the achievements of Theatre Dance Teachers.
Baile con Cameron dance school was shortlisted in early October and went up against entries from across the UK and Europe as well as Canada, Ireland, USA, Bahrain, Malaysia, Finland, India and Australia.
The awards are given in five categories, according to the size of each dance school and finalists represent schools of all sizes and all genres from ballet to hip-hop and ballroom to contemporary.
