THE Valencia Region will begin to administer both the winter flu jab and the Covid-19 booster jab from this week.
The first appointments are expected to be given for the end of this coming week to over 70s who will be called to health centres, given that the mass vaccination centres have now been closed.
The health department will be calling those who were fully vaccinated at least six months ago, as recommended by health authorities.
The next group to be called will be the over 65s, as long as the necessary six months has passed since they received their second jab.
The COvid-19 booster jab will be given in parallel with the flu vaccine with one shot being given in each arm.
